Wooden Clothes

Wooden Clothes

In 2015 Anna Moraitou, Vaya Nikolakopoulou & Nara Papakaliati worked together to create a collection of wooden clothes and accessories, as an experimental project into the fashion – architecture relationship, where form follows fuction. Influenced by the work of fashion designers like Paco Rabanne and architects like I.M. Pei, they use the isosceles triangle, an elementary geometric shape that provides strength and stability in structure. Several triangles are connected together and follow the curves of the body, so as to create a functional architectural wearable construction.
